I wanted to share a wedding I shot at the end of October. It was a fellow photographers wedding and instead of asking one particular photographer to come, she invited us all to openly shoot. It was a lot of fun, but I decided to bring along my Panasonic Lumix GF3 instead of the Canon dSLRs I was shooting at the time. Since then I have completely gone Micro Four Thirds (Loving it!).
I wanted to see just how well the GF3 could do at a wedding. Would I be happy or not? The answer was a definite “Yes!” I was more than surprised at what I could accomplish with the little camera as long as I understood it’s limitations. Because of the uniquely small size of the Micro Four Thirds camera system I was able to bring out a small arsenal of lenses in a very small bag. I chose to pack the Panasonic 14mm f2.5 (my every day lens I wouldn’t leave without), A PK adapted Pentax 50mm f2, Pentax 28mm f3.5, and I borrowed an Olympus 9-18mm f4-5.6, and Olympus 14-42mm f3.5-5.6 from a friend.
