A Real Life MeFoto Tripod Audition and Review

The new small, light, low cost “travel” tripods that fit inside your camera bag are made to ride along with you everywhere and spring to life when you need them for photo and video.  MeFoto is a brand that is leading the way with two very affordable models, each in a variety of bright fun colors with matching small ball heads in a nifty case.

Do they meet up to photo technology expert Will Crockett’s expectations?

Can you use them with a pro DSLR, a pro mirrorless, or just a point and shoot?

Will Crockett has tested the MeFoto tripods in a variety of conditions to see if they are as sturdy and as portable as claimed, how big of a camera can be used under Real Life conditions, and what do pro photo clients think when a photographer shows up with a bright blue tripod?

Decide for yourself, in this Real Life Audition video from discovermirrorless’s “Coach” Will Crockett, if the popular MeFoto tripods are just a fad or if they are a breakthru solution for hybrid photographers to never again miss a shot because they forgot to bring a tripod.

Interested in learning more about HYBRID PHOTOGRAPHY? Join Will Crockett, Suzette Allen, Rick Ferro, Peter Friedman, Carol Schlintz and 18 others as they blog and vlog about the skillful blend of shooting photo + video + audio for clients and for fun too. Discovermirrorless dot com reaches tens of thousands each month with real info from real photographers that use DSLRs and a wide selection of mirror less cameras every day.
